Summary
The dorsal motor nucleus is a cranial nerve nucleus where parasympathetic or “rest and digest” nervous impulses controlling our internal organs like the heart, lung and upper GI tract originate. These nerve fibers are carried through the Vagus nerve, or cranial nerve 10.
